Who we are
Mr Pollo Fresco is a family butcher and market with stores at 12021 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92843 and 209 S State College Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92806. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or our app, and how we use it.
Information you give us
- Order requests: when you send an order request we receive your name, phone number, the items you want, the store or address you choose, the time you want it, and any notes. We use this only to prepare and confirm your order.
- Customer accounts (when available): your name, email address, password (stored encrypted), phone, saved address, favorite store and language, plus your order history.
- Posts, recipes, comments and photos/videos you choose to share on our Blog or Recipe Ideas pages. These are public on our website.
- Marketing choices: we only send offers by email or text if you check the box to opt in. You can opt out any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or telling us at the store.
Information stored on your device
The website and app remember your cart, your language choice (English, Tiếng Việt or Español) and your sign-in, using your browser's or phone's local storage. This stays on your device. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your information.
How we use and share information
- To take, prepare and hand over your order, and to contact you about it.
- To run your account and show your past orders.
- With service providers that help us run the site: our website host (Netlify) receives order-request forms, and, when delivery launches, the delivery partner you choose (our own drivers, DoorDash or Uber) receives the name, phone and address needed to deliver.
- When the law requires it.
We never sell or rent your personal information.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep order information as long as needed for business and tax records. California residents have the right to see, correct and delete their information under the CCPA/CPRA.
How to ask Mr Pollo Fresco to delete your data (website and the Mr Pollo Fresco Android app):
- Email carpenter5familymemories@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion", or call 714-617-5856, or tell us at either store.
- Give the name and phone number you used on your orders (and your email, if you have an account).
- We confirm and delete within 30 days.
What is deleted: your name, phone, address, email, account, saved preferences, and any posts or comments you made. What may be kept: basic sales records (items, amounts, dates) that the law requires us to keep for tax purposes, for up to 7 years, without your contact details. The cart and language saved on your own phone can be cleared at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.
Children
Our website and app are meant for adults shopping for their households. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
